Does it feel like all the arguments in your home are about the dog? Does your dog refuse to listen? Is your dog causing you a lot of stress?
Most people use outdated training methods that don’t work and can make things worse. I use proven current techniques, science based skills, and practical strategies to eliminate all bad behaviors.
A highly trained dog is a family member that can provide companionship, protection, provide therapy and support, and sometimes perform tasks that save lives. An under developed dog can ruin marriages, upset children when re-homed, cause expensive damage and annoy neighbors. It is always better when both human and canine are happy and living in a beautiful symbiosis the way it was intended when wolves were domesticated thousands of years ago and selectively bred into an entirely new species (canis lupus familiaris) genetically engineered to work beside mankind…
I’m Zoja Kubiak. You may call me Zo. I am a certified balanced dog trainer and the owner of Canine Family Member Dog Coaching Service and the founder of Von Zephir Ranch German Shepherds. My lifestyle of owning, breeding, handling, caring for, rehabilitating and training dogs over many years gave me hands on experience and a deep understanding of canine behaviors. I am a member of the World Association of Balanced Dog Trainers (WABDT) and the Association of Professional Dog Trainers (APDT). I am certified by the American Red Cross in dog first aid. I have completed Dr. Ian Dunbar’s SIRIUS dog trainer academy and his science based dog training course. I volunteered at animal services working with rescues. I am certified by Bellum K9’s school of excellence K9 Cadets, the only dog trainer education outside of the military teaching United States Department of Defense methods. I am always continuing my education. I have successfully transformed many dogs with a variety of temperaments, helping them develop confidence and skills in obedience, socialization, and play while fostering a trusting and respectful relationship between dogs and their owners. I am the one who is trained to help dogs become the best version of themselves. The canine family member is doing the most extraordinary work.

The future of dog training and the role of dogs in the family are evolving in fascinating ways, influenced by advances in technology, shifts in societal values, and growing understanding of canine behavior.
### Future of Dog Training
1. Technology Integration:
- Wearable Devices: Smart collars and wearable devices are already tracking a dog’s health and behavior, and in the future, they could be used to assist in real-time training, providing immediate feedback to both the dog and owner.
- AI and Apps: AI-driven apps may analyze a dog’s behavior and suggest personalized training plans. Virtual reality could simulate real-world scenarios for training without leaving the home.
- Remote Training: With the rise of smart home devices, training sessions could be conducted remotely or monitored while the owner is away, helping reinforce behavior throughout the day.
2. Positive Reinforcement:
- The trend toward positive reinforcement methods will likely continue, supported by ongoing research into animal behavior. New techniques will focus on building trust and communication.
3. Holistic Training:
- Training is expected to become more holistic, considering not just obedience but overall well-being, including mental stimulation, socialization, and physical health.
4. Customization and Specialization:
- Training programs could become more tailored to individual dogs, considering breed, personality, and specific family dynamics. Specialized training for therapy dogs, emotional support animals, or even canine athletes will likely expand.
### Dogs’ Role in the Family
1. Emotional Support:
- As society increasingly recognizes the mental health benefits of pets, dogs will likely continue to play a significant role as emotional support animals. This role may expand in importance as more people seek comfort and companionship from pets.
2. Family Dynamics:
- Dogs are becoming more integrated into family life, often considered as family members rather than just pets. Their roles may include being companions, protectors, and even caretakers in some cases, such as therapy or service dogs.
3. Sustainability and Ethical Considerations:
- There is growing awareness around the ethical treatment of dogs, including concerns about breeding practices, diet, and overall care. The future might see more sustainable and ethical approaches to dog ownership, such as adopting rescue dogs and hiring professional dog trainers.
4. Health and Wellness:
- Dogs may become more involved in family health routines, participating in activities like yoga or hiking. As part of wellness trends, dogs’ diets, exercise, and mental stimulation will be more closely monitored and managed.
5. Aging Population:
- With the world’s population aging, dogs may increasingly be used in caregiving roles, providing companionship and support to elderly individuals. This could lead to more emphasis on training dogs for roles in elder care.
In summary, the future of dog training will likely be marked by technological advancements, a deeper understanding of canine behavior, and an increasingly prominent role for dogs within families. As society continues to value the emotional and psychological benefits of dog ownership, dogs will likely become even more central to the concept of family.
Dog parks are a mosh pit of sex, disease, and violence. Most dog owners don’t have a clue about their breed’s innate drives, training, veterinary care or socialization needs.
